The CX50FWE draws on over 30 years of dominance in providing this class-leading race machine to little rippers worldwide. The heritage of this motorcycle is truly incredible; turn on pro motocross or supercross, and the vast majority of those athletes raced a Cobra 50 early in their amateur careers. Each year we make improvements to ensure the CX50FWE retains its spot at the top of the class.

Engine: Venom Series Engine: The CX50 Factory Works Edition delivers best-in-class power and torque. At the heart of this little beast is a super-stiff crankshaft that ensures that all that horsepower makes it to the ground.

Cylinder: The CX50FWE cylinder provides increased torque and power. This results in improved performance and acceleration, allowing riders to experience enhanced speed and agility on the bike.

Clutch: The CX50FWE is equipped with the Cobra 5Gx Freewheeling 3-Shoe clutch. Our system ensures smooth and efficient power transfer, enhancing the bike's acceleration and control.

Cooling: A highly efficient cooling system with a liquid-cooled top-end and case, incorporating twin radiators for effective heat dissipation. This advanced cooling system ensures optimal temperature regulation, preventing overheating during intense motocross sessions. The liquid cooling technology used in the CX50FWE's cooling system enhances overall performance and reliability, allowing young riders to push their limits with confidence.

Exhaust: The exhaust system features a Works Style tuned pipe and silencer combination. This design optimizes the flow of exhaust gases, maximizing power output and torque throughout the RPM range. The tuned pipe enhances the engine's performance by effectively managing exhaust pulses, while the silencer reduces noise levels without compromising power.

Titanium Edition: Cobra is bringing works level goodies to the minicycle market! The CX50FWE features a super strong and lightweight Titanium rear axle and swingarm pivot. Additionally, we’ve included all Aluminium fastening hardware to the mix.

VP Racing Factory-Fill: Cobra and VP Racing have teamed up to ensure that each Cobra model comes with the finest lubricants and chemicals. This includes everything from wheel bearing grease to brake fluid, suspension fluid, to the oil on the air filter.

Frame: The hybrid oval twin spar/Backbone frame with removable aluminum subframe. This chassis reduces weight, improves handling, allows the radiator to be tucked in, eases maintenance, and is stronger.

Cylinder Stay: The CX50FWE features a redesigned cylinder stay allowing the chassis to exhibit improved absorption and response to external forces, resulting in better overall performance and handling over rough terrain.

Swing ARM: The precision design of the swingarm ensures optimal suspension performance, allowing riders to navigate through rough terrains with confidence. With its combination of strength, stability, and suspension efficiency, the swingarm provides a solid foundation for riders to push their limits and conquer any motocross challenge. 

Wheels: The CX50FWE is equipped with high-quality Cobra 12" Forged & Anodized front wheels and Cobra 10" Forged & Anodized rear wheels. These wheels provide excellent strength and durability. Wheel Front / Rear: Cobra 12″ Forged & Anodized/ Cobra 10″ Forged & Anodized.

Tires: Dunlop Geomax MX34 Intermediate-Terrain Tires: A high-end bike deserves high-end tires. The CX50FWE will be outfitted with Dunlop Geomax MX34s front and back. Enhanced grip, improved slide control, and a larger contact patch with the ground all add up to reduced lap times. No corners cut here!

Front Suspension: Revolutionary MXT “Smart Leg” Front Fork: Cobra’s exclusive 35mm USD CARD fork is designed to be the finest fork in minicycle racing! Cobra’s innovative design simultaneously provides supple action over small bumps, and progressive control through the biggest of hits. A feature especially important for minicycles that run on tracks torn up by bikes twice their size. This fork also features fully adjustable rebound and compression damping and bottoming control adjustment not found on any other fork, of any size, and is built on a spring cartridge architecture that’s ready to tackle the toughest terrain right out of the crate.

Rear Suspension: CARD rear shock features high and low speed compression adjustment and adjustable rebound damping. The shock tucks in tightly for a slim mid-section, and with the low-friction needle bearing swingarm pivot (exclusive on the CX50FWE), rear suspension action will be smoother than ever.

Brakes: CARD front and rear brake system now with improved brake caliper pistons for reduced heat-related bike fade! This brake system provides a World-class feel and responsiveness, allowing riders to fine-tune their braking preferences and optimize their control and stopping power.

Controls: Cobra is proud to offer Micro Handlebars on the CX50FWE. These bars have revolutionized the way that young riders control their motorcycles by offering a reduced diameter grip area that inspires confidence and reduces fatigue. As well, the front brake features an ergonomic lever designed to give rather than break during a tip-over.

Ergonomic Hand Holds: Strategically placed handholds make lifting the bike easier both at the starting gate and onto the stand.

Seat: World Class Ergonomics provide a slimmer, flatter seat for easier fore-aft transitions and accommodation for a larger range of rider size.
